The school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead will receive a notification from the police when they attend incidents of domestic abuse where children are involved. This notification may be a little delayed- but the aim is that we will receive it quickly. We are not allowed to discuss this with you directly, on the basis of receiving the notification. However, we are able to offer help and support for you should you share the information with us, yourselves. The aim is that with the very limited and basic information provided by the police, we can better support children and families living with domestic abuse.
