Headteacher's Welcome
Welcome to Hopping Hill Primary School website.
At Hopping Hill Primary School, we are fully committed to providing an environment where pupils are happy, hardworking and healthy and through support and challenge, fulfil their true potential. It is our aim to develop the well-rounded child – a child who is confident, resilient, motivated and prepared to adapt for the ever changing world that we are living in.
We nurture children as individuals and ensure that each child in our school feels valued and listened to. Our rich and varied curriculum builds on individual strengths and develops a wide set of interests. Inclusion is of high priority and we aim for every child’s needs to be met. We firmly believe that for a child to be ready to learn they need to be happy. Emotional wellbeing and mental health is of high priority and staff are committed to children’s personal development and wellbeing.
Values education is at the heart of all that we teach the children and addressed through our engaging and enriched curriculum. Our core values of kindness, respect, integrity, teamwork and ambition form the foundation of the extensive moral code that we strive to develop with the children. Through these values we explore a range of other positive attributes that we feel are essential for the children to become well rounded and happy individuals.
Our children are very well-behaved, kind and respectful and have a strong desire to learn. All adults and children are encouraged to demonstrate good behaviour, in line with our behaviour promise:
Be kind, be safe, be respectful and always try our best.
We are all very proud of our wonderful school and it is my privilege as Head Teacher to share more about Hopping Hill Primary through our website.
We also welcome visitors to our school. If you would like to come and have a look round, please feel free to contact the school office to make an appointment.
I look forward to welcoming you to our school soon.
