I am pleased to be welcomed on to the board of governors here at Hopping Hill and look forward to supporting the school, sharing my knowledge and ensuring all children have a voice. As part of the wellbeing and standards committee I would like to ensure the school continues to provide a friendly and healthy learning environment for all.

I currently have an operational role in a local nursery, which includes co-ordinating services around children with Special Educational Needs and their families, leading Safeguarding and staff development. For the last 10 years, Early Years has been not only my career but my passion, before this I had a career in hospitality management which I thoroughly enjoyed. I believe all children should be given equal opportunities to have a rich, inclusive and varied experience at school. Children should be happy and also encouraged to reach their full potential. My current role puts me in the heart of families in complex and difficult situations. I support families and children by understanding their needs and most importantly listening to them. 

Finally I am a mum to three lovely girls and in our spare time as a family we enjoy being outdoors in the parks and dog walks. I also enjoy spending time with friends, keeping fit and eating out. I look forward to working alongside the other Governors in this new role and I’m excited to see the school go from strength to strength.
