Our Learning

Values

Our values underpin everything that we do at Hopping Hill Primary School. They are lived by all and promoted through our curriculum. We have five overarching values; things we believe in that help us make decisions about how to behave and the choices we make.

We focus on these as a set of tools to guide our actions and achieve our goals and through these values aim to develop confident individuals with a clear moral code.

These overarching core values lay the foundations to address principles that guide our behaviour and form the basis of our teaching. Through a rounded programme of assemblies and events we promote children's spiritual, moral, social and cultural development, enabling them to develop their own moral and ethical compass to guide them in what is right and what is wrong.

Our values underpin our work to actively promote the fundamental British values of democracy, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance. We develop an understanding and appreciation of all faiths, backgrounds and cultures.
